Mahmut-bey’ s Mosque or ” The Big Mosque “ is situated in the center of the town.
It was erected on the foundations of the former mosque, with a wooden minaret, called ” Mahmut – bey’ s mosque ” very beginning of the 20th century.
Since this is about a sacral building of recent origin it is known that well-known craftsmen from Sedobra built this mosque.
The structure has no monumental characteristics and for the same reasons belongs to religious facilities of the town of Prijepolje.
However there is not enough information about the former mosque that previously stood here.
