Leisure and Activities
Sokobanja offers strolls through the spa park, sports facilities, outdoor pools, fishing on Lake Bovan, and excursions to Mount Rtanj. A library, museum, galleries, and vibrant nightlife round out the offer. More and more athletes come here for training camps, drawn by the oxygen-rich mountain air.
Health and Medical Treatment
The Special Hospital "Sokobanja" is the only institution in the spa with accreditation from the Ministry of Health. It has 560 beds and 150 medical staff, one in four of whom is a specialist doctor. Indications include: respiratory diseases (asthma, bronchitis), rheumatism, post-traumatic conditions, neuralgia, and stress.
